The Childcare Consultancy Early Years Foundation Stage Toolkit™ is a unique online toolkit. It is suitable for daycare, out of school, sessional, crèche providers, as well as homebased providers (childminders and nannies).

Subscribers receive:

EYFS welfare requirements:

You will not need to design any forms to meet the welfare requirements, as we have done this for you! All subscribers receive a presentation ring binder, which will store all the documentation that needs to be in place.

A self-evaluation training package:

All early years practitioners should take part in the self-evaluation of their practice. This helps practitioners to reflect on their practice and enhance the opportunities that are available for children. The self-evaluation training supports practitioners to have a sense of ownership and raises their awareness of the Every Child Matters Outcomes.

Parental questionnaires:

As Ofsted no longer send out pre-inspection parental questionnaires, it is important to seek the views of parents to support their child’s learning and development. The parental questionnaires have been carefully designed to link into the EYFS principles and welfare requirements.

Seasonal menus and recipes:

Designed by our resident dietician Victoria Taylor, these menus are for summer and winter. They also meet current government guidelines around healthy eating for the under fives.

Email alerts:

All subscribers receive regular email updates; any important changes to key legislation and guidance will be sent electronically.

E-Newsletter:

An informative and topical e-newsletter is available on a termly basis. We are fortunate to have Jennifer Beckless to edit our newsletter, Jennifer is a national journalist who writes for a wide selection of magazines and the national press.

"Laura came to do pre-inspection visits at both of my nurseries last year. The sessions were very useful. Staff (and the children) got used to being observed during a normal day at nursery and it offered me the chance to ensure that all paperwork was up to date. The feedback and written report highlighted some small areas that Laura felt we could give our attention to. Coincidentally, we had an unannounced Ofsted inspection just a few weeks after Laura’s visit. I really feel that her visit helped me to achieve our grade of outstanding."

"Laura is extremely professional with a thorough approach that really helps pinpoint any areas to work on. I have asked Laura to do a pre-inspection visit at both nurseries every year."

What our clients say about us

"We wanted to write and thank you for, once again, providing such an interesting and practical workshop on Ofsted’s expectations of a Healthy Child. The delegates who attended the workshops gave very positive feedback on their evaluation forms and found the time very useful and enjoyable. We are sure that this will have a positive impact on practitioners' understanding and practice in their varied settings."
